Today’s guest is Bill Capsalis, executive director at Naturally Boulder. Naturally Boulder is a community for the natural product industry in Colorado and provides a place for entrepreneurs, investors, brands, retailers and industry experts to make Colorado the best place to launch and scale a natural products company. Bill most recently served as CEO at Haystack Mountain Goat Dairy and uses his experience to help natural food entrepreneurs thrive.
In Boulder he found his passion for living a natural lifestyle, becoming vegan and helping form the Naturally Boulder network. Though he left his board position there to lead a goat dairy company, Bill returned to become the Executive Director and immerse himself in the startup community again.
About Bill Capsalis:
Bill Capsalis grew up in the Detroit area and attended Central Michigan University. He spent time on the east coast before settling in Boulder, Colorado in the ’80s. He has held multiple leadership positions, including VP of Marketing at Kinko’s, VP of Marketing at Gaiam, CEO at Haystack Mountain Creamery and now Executive Director at Naturally Boulder. Bill has also been an entrepreneur himself, now lending his expertise to others within the community.
