Privacy

We use Google Analytics to count visits. It sets cookies and records pages viewed, approximate location and device type.

If you submit news, we store your name, email, organization and submission in a private GitHub repository so an editor can review it. Your email is never published.

If you subscribe to the weekly email, we store your email address, the states you chose, when you confirmed and which page you signed up from, in a Cloudflare database, and send the email through Resend. Links in the email pass through startupblogpost.com so we can record which ones you click; we use that to see which stories readers want and who no longer reads. Unsubscribing deletes your address, and the clicks left behind are no longer tied to it. If an email to you bounces or you report it as spam, Resend stops further email to that address.
